System Overview

The Now Wine Cellar Cooling Split System is ideal for cellars without proper ventilation. It offers efficiency, durability, and quiet operation. Each system keeps both temperature and humidity stable in spaces where natural airflow is limited. The unit has two main parts: the evaporator inside the cellar and the condenser outside. You can place the condenser up to 25 metres away, which reduces indoor noise and vibration. As a result, your wine remains undisturbed, helping preserve its quality.

Important Notes for Installation

When you build a wine cellar, proper insulation is vital. Materials such as brick, concrete, and glass do not insulate well. Without insulation, the cooling system works harder and may lose its warranty. Therefore, always use Kingspan K17, K18, or similar insulation panels to maintain steady temperatures.

In addition, install double-glazed, argon gas-filled glass doors, windows, or panels with a 6 mm / 12 mm / 6 mm setup. Also, make sure the cellar’s total cubic metres stay within the unit’s rated capacity. Before installation, check the gas pipe run in the user manual so both horizontal and vertical distances meet the recommended limits.

Finally, avoid placing any heat-generating items, such as fridges, inside the cellar. These appliances raise the temperature and humidity, which affects the system’s efficiency. By following these steps, you will create a stable environment that keeps your wine safe for years to come.
